Yendi Phillipps has been crowned Miss Jamaica World 2007 and will be representing the country at the Miss World event in Sanya, China on December 1, 2007.
Phillipps, who is 21 years old, wore the sash Ms. Perfectil and won three out of the four mini competitions. She was also voted as the public favorite.
Sara Lawrence, the 2005 winner who relinquished her crown when she became pregnant, was absent from the event and the crown was given to Phillipps by the 2005 winner, Terri-Karelle Griffith.
