QQ's career has been temporarily disrupted by the Jamaican government due to his father's alleged failure to abide by child labor laws. It is reported that QQ's father, GQ , will have to face charges in regards to his management of QQ's career because it is suggested that he has not been following the requirements for QQ's exemption permit, which allows him to perform even though he is below or between the age of 13.
It also states that education should be a must and that the child's environment should be tobacco and alcohol free.
GQ could reportedly face fines up to $500, 000 JMD and will not be allowed to travel abroad with QQ for shows in the upcoming summer.
