PICS- Miss China Wins Miss World 2007

Miss China has won the Miss World 2007 Competition in Sanya, China with Angola finishing as first runner-up and Mexico as second runner-up. Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Valene Maharaj, landed a spot in the top five position and Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillips, managed to make the top 15.

Ada Aimee de La Cruz, who represents Dominican Republic, won the first place position in the recently held Fashion Beach Show in Sanya, China. The competition was the first of the fast track events and has guaranteed De La Cruz a place in the Semi Finals of the Miss World Pageant 2007. Second place position went to Yendi Phillips of Jamaica and third place was given to Zi Ling Zhang of China
