During the finals of Heineken Green Synergy at Mas Camp this pass weekend, Mavado's entourage created a riot when the deejay's chain went missing as he was dragged into the crowd while performing.It has been reported that his entourage, on hearing that his chain went missing, began to attack patrons whom they thought were responsible for taking it. However, during the scuffle a man got chopped in the face with a bottle and a lady was injured. Though they retrieved the chain, there was a stampede as patrons ran to safety when the incident got out of control.
No official police report has been made and so far there's been no word of an arrest.

Let me tell you the whole story....I was there!!
Movado was drawn off the stage by a group of ladies, on his third attempt of stooping in front of them, singing "she seh she wah mi". At this point, one of his 'followers', smacked a lady in the face, saying that she was the one who pulled 'their artist' from off the stage. Movado then shouted that his chain was missing.
This fellow in a gray merino, who apparently knew the young lady,had the chain in his possession. A member of Mavado's entourage, took the bottom of a heineken bottle, and hit the poor fellow in the head, and took back the chain.
Blood spewed everywhere.
The man reportedly, claimed that he was returning the chain to the artist, and that he had no intention of stealing it. He was also disgruntled that they smacked the young lady in the face.
A small riot broke out.
Patrons scolded Mavado, stating that what he did was uncalled for, and that they had no respect and ratings for him and his music again. A lady beside me shouted " a dead him fi bl**dcl*th dead, dem bwooy deh a real pu**yhole!!"
Mavado went back on stage, and was trying to persuade the man to go to the hospital..."gwaan a hospital nuh dog, somebody tek him go hospital nuh", said the DJ in his 'gangsta 4 life' tone of voice. A bottle was thrown on stage at the DJ, and in no less than a second he and Busy scurried away hastily backstage.
The DJ's and their entourage congregated outside their tents backstage, and then left the premises a while after.
In my opinion, Mavado should have apologized to the man for what happened. The member of his entourage who wounded the man and the lady, should have been arrested for misconduct, and malicious aggravation, and whatever else charges that are incurred with such behaviour. Instead of wounding the man, all he had to do was hold him with a firm grip, and take back the chain. No harm done there. But hitting a woman, and causing bloodshed, was absurd and completely foolish!
What are they trying to prove?
Mavado im sorry to say but you have lost many fans that night, including me.
