Busy Signal has now joined Juke Boxx Productions with Shane C. Brown and has left his former representative, Julian Jones-Griffith.
According to reports in the Star, Busy Signal felt his career needed more attention. However, it is speculated that Busy Signal may have felt Griffith was putting more effort into promoting Movado, who is also with the same management.
Busy also reported that the decision to change management was done on amicable terms and that he and Griffith have no ill feelings.
In response, Griffith explained to the Star, that with all the controversy surrounding Movado's career as well as his album debut, he has been preoccupied with dealing with Movado's management and promotion. However he also stated that he and Busy Signal separated on good terms.
He said, "I have to say there is absolutely no bad feeling or bad vibes between us. Busy was, and is my friend, nothing will change that. I support him totally in his decision to seek new management."
